Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk - Shipping to join our team on a contract basis in Wood Dale, Illinois. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of shipping and receiving operations within a detail-oriented warehouse environment. Job Responsibility:

Manage shipping and receiving tasks with precision and attention to detail
record and track orders using industry-specific systems and technology
ensure all warehouse processes comply with established safety and security protocols
collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient workflow
verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness
maintain clear communication with logistics teams and other departments
handle shipping documentation and ensure compliance with company policies
monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies promptly
utilize logistics knowledge to optimize operational efficiency

Requirements:

Previous experience in logistics, shipping, and receiving roles
proficiency with technology and warehouse systems
strong organizational and communication skills
ability to work with precision and maintain high attention to detail
knowledge of safety and security protocols in warehouse environments
comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
familiarity with shipping functions and logistics industry practices
ability to collaborate effectively within a team
