Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Cleaning Operative to join our Day Warehouse team. This role plays a key part in maintaining a clean, safe and efficient working environment across our Aylesford site, with a strong focus on recycling management and waste handling. A large proportion of this role will involve working in external yard areas, managing recycling materials and operating waste compacting and baling equipment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing recycling and waste across warehouse and external yard areas
  • Sorting recycling materials and operating baling and compacting equipment
  • Transporting recyclable materials and waste between warehouse and yard areas
  • Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse, waste areas and yard spaces
  • Carrying out general housekeeping duties to support a clean and safe working environment
  • Ensuring all work areas remain clean, safe and organised

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks
  • Comfortable working outdoors in yard environments and varying weather conditions
  • Motivated, trustworthy, and able to work with a positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills and a team‑focused approach
  • Previous warehouse or waste/recycling experience is desirable
