This Warehouse Associate position begins as a temporary-to-permanent opportunity. We are looking for a reliable individual who can start immediately to support the team’s current needs while being considered for a permanent role within the organization. In this role, your expertise in shipping and receiving will be critical. You will manage the documentation and physical handling of high-quality equipment, ensuring every order leaves the facility in perfect condition. As a Warehouse Associate in this specialized manufacturing setting, you aren't just a number—you are the backbone of the logistics chain. Monday to Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Job Responsibility:
Manage all shipping and receiving activities within the manufacturing facility
Operate a forklift safely to load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the warehouse
Prepare documentation for outgoing shipments of carpet cleaning and restoration equipment
Verify incoming materials against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and quality
Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment to support the production team
Perform inventory counts and assist in inventory control to prevent stock shortages
Collaborate closely with the three production employees to ensure materials are ready for assembly
Use computer systems to track shipments and update inventory status accurately
Ensure all safety protocols are followed strictly within the manufacturing & logistics environment
Requirements:
Proficiency in shipping and receiving procedures and documentation
Valid Forklift Certification (Reach or Counterbalance preferred)
Strong attention to detail for verifying parts and equipment
Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team environment
Physical stamina to handle manual loading and unloading tasks as required
Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking and label printing
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with couriers and production staff
Problem-solving skills to address any shipment discrepancies or delays
