Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Santa Clara, California. This is a contract position that involves coordinating logistics and warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The role offers hands-on training and an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing
  • Update inventory records and purchase orders using NetSuite or similar accounting systems
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and organize packages
  • Deliver packages to designated locations using company trucks, adhering to safety and driving regulations
  • Prepare goods for shipment by strapping, wrapping, and organizing items efficiently
  • Communicate daily activities and updates to the warehouse manager and shipping supervisor
  • Maintain cleanliness and order within the warehouse while adhering to safety protocols
  • Assist with ID verification and documentation for shipping and receiving processes
  • Participate in training sessions to familiarize yourself with company systems and procedures
  • Support general warehouse tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse or shipping/receiving roles
  • Clean driving record with demonstrated experience operating larger trucks
  • Ability to lift and move packages safely and efficiently
  • Forklift operation experience and a valid driver’s license are required
  • Familiarity with inventory systems like NetSuite or willingness to learn
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to following safety regulations
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes
