Job Responsibility

  • Handle all incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of purchased products against documentation
  • Enter order receipts accurately into the internal computer database system
  • Perform quality assurance inspections on goods when appropriate to maintain high inventory standards
  • Place received materials into proper warehouse storage locations after segregating backorders
  • Relocate and consolidate warehouse material as needed and notify management of new location codes
  • Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials securely for shipment, including assemble and hold orders
  • Prepare accurate bills of lading, local delivery records, and express receipts
  • Assist in loading delivery trucks safely and completing applicable blocks on pick tickets
  • Maintain appropriate paperwork and forms pending the return of any warehouse materials
  • Inspect the condition of returned material thoroughly prior to completing return authorization forms
  • Pull stock and return it to the correct storage location pending credit memos, sales, or supplier returns
  • Clean and organize the warehouse interior, trucking bays, and outdoor parking areas regularly
  • Assemble and disassemble warehouse bins, racks, shelves, and display tables as needed
  • Administer preventative maintenance programs to delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment to ensure safety
  • Record verbal or written customer complaints regarding products or services and process them accordingly
  • Maintain and restock counter inventory levels as needed to support business continuity
  • Assist with over-the-counter sales and provide friendly service to walk-in customers

Requirements

  • Valid Forklift Certification specifically for standard sit-down forklifts is strictly required
  • Proven experience working as a warehouse associate, material handler, or in a similar manufacturing & logistics role
  • Ability to work the full duration of the contract assignment from May 20th, 2026, to November 13th, 2026
  • Must be comfortable working in variable weather conditions, as forklift operation requires outdoor driving
  • Reliable transportation to the job location at 2223 Nicholson St S, Prince George, BC
  • Steel-toe safety boots and other standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are required
