Job Description

Job Responsibility

  • Perform core warehouse processes including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and storing of goods with a focus on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Execute daily operations effectively using available systems and tools to support efficient workflows and maintain data integrity
  • Unload, process, and handle inbound and outbound merchandise safely, securing goods for proper movement throughout the distribution center
  • Identify, document, and remove any damages found or caused during handling of merchandise
  • Contribute to goal setting for overall warehouse operations and support implementation of local business plans and improvement projects
  • Analyze daily and seasonal workload demands to ensure efficient volume handling and resource planning
  • Support high goods availability through timely and precise execution of assigned tasks
  • Work in a lean, simple, and cost‑conscious manner, sharing good practices to optimize daily operations
  • Follow all IKEA health, safety, and security rules, actively helping to prevent incidents involving co‑workers, customers, equipment, and products
  • Collaborate with colleagues and take responsibility for additional tasks or projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30kgs ergonomically
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken
