Job Description:

Are you a safety-conscious professional with a talent for precision and organization? We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate Forklift Operator to join a dynamic team in Langley. As a Warehouse Associate Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in the daily success of our client's supply chain operations. Located in the heart of Langley, this Temporary to Permanent full-time position. Your primary focus will be the safe operation of industrial power trucks to move, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is a perfect blend of technical equipment operation and physical warehouse support, including shipping, receiving, order picking, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace

Job Responsibility:

Operate forklifts (Sit-down Counterbalance and/or Reach trucks) to load and unload trailers and containers efficiently
Perform accurate order picking using RF scanners to ensure inventory integrity and customer satisfaction
Manage shipping and receiving documentation, verifying counts and inspecting incoming goods for damage
Transport materials to designated storage areas and stack pallets according to safety and height specifications
Conduct daily pre-operational safety inspections on forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs
Assist with manual loading and unloading of goods when required, ensuring proper lifting techniques
Maintain a high standard of manufacturing and logistics safety by keeping aisles clear and performing general clean-up
Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines

Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in Canada
Must be punctual, dependable, and able to commit to full-time hours
Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Counterbalance/Reach) is highly preferred
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Warehouse Associate Forklift Operator
Experience in shipping, receiving, and order picking within a fast-paced environment
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the duration of an 8-hour shift
High school diploma or equivalent
Commitment to workplace safety and a clean criminal record check
Reliable transportation to the Langley area for the 8:30 am start time
