As a Warehouse Associate - Electric Pallet Jack Operator, you will play a pivotal role in order fulfillment. The manufacturing & logistics industry demands precision and great attention to detail, especially when using vacuum lift systems for positioning boxes on pallets. Your expertise with the electric pallet jack will be utilized daily to move stock fluidly. This three-week mandate, with a possibility of extension, is an ideal gateway to demonstrate your manufacturing & logistics expertise and build a lasting relationship with our expert recruiters.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safely operate an electric pallet jack to move goods within the manufacturing & logistics zone
  • Use a vacuum handling system to precisely position boxes onto pallets
  • Perform pallet wrapping using an automated system (pallet wrapper) to secure shipments
  • Ensure inventory accuracy when moving products throughout the warehouse
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with manufacturing & logistics standards
  • Collaborate with the supervision team to meet daily production targets
  • Inspect equipment (pallet jack) before each shift starts

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in driving an electric pallet jack within a manufacturing & logistics setting
  • Ability to use warehouse technology tools (vacuum systems, wrappers)
  • Excellent physical condition for manual and assisted positioning of boxes
  • Team spirit and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Rigor, punctuality, and strict adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing & logistics environment
  • Possess a valid forklift license (essential for operating the electric pallet jack)
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing & logistics sector
  • Availability to start on Monday, April 13th, and work full-time
  • Ability to commute independently to Vaudreuil-Dorion for the 7:00 AM shift
  • Certified safety shoes or boots (mandatory on the floor)
