Job Description:

Reporting to the Goods Flow Manager, this Specialist role is tasked to safeguard the quality of all logistic processes to ensure that no damaged goods reach the customer.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safeguard the quality of all logistic processes to ensure that no damaged goods reach the customer
  • Carry out logistics operations according to local laws and regulations
  • Maintain the IKEA brand standard in supply quality, health and safety standards in all goods flow and customer delivery processes
  • Be the first point of contact in the store for supply chain partners with regards to quality-related topics
  • Ensure the correct execution of the goods flow process, keeping customer-perceived availability in focus
  • Develop and use knowledge and expertise of logistics to achieve quality and safety standards in the logistics function
  • Ensure daily operational inspections and maintenance procedures, fulfilling local legal standards and IKEA standards

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years relevant work experience in quality and/or safety standards, preferably gained from the retail / logistics industry
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • with the ability to influence and collaborate with others
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with keen eye for details and results-focused
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in reach truck operation
