Job Description:

We are recruiting for a reliable and well-organised Warehouse Assistant who has a positive can-do attitude to join a family run business who take pride in creating a working environment where all can excel and progress. You will be working within a welcoming and long-standing team who continue to work together incredibly well to ensure they remain an award-winning business in their sector. This role is starting immediately and initially on a temporary basis with the view to become permanent.

Job Responsibility:

Picking and packing trade and retail orders
Recording all products packed
Ensuring orders are sent in the correct packaging
Keeping the warehouse in a tidy order
General manual handling and lifting duties as required
Operating pallet trucks and forklift trucks once trained (unless you already hold a forklift license)
Stock taking as required
Occasionally delivering products and setting up for exhibitions and events

Requirements:

Previous warehouse experience is preferable
Excellent team player
Flexible approach to work
Ideally hold a forklift license although training can be provided
Computer literate
Reliable with good time keeping
