Job Description:

Reporting to the Goods Flow Team Manager, this role is responsible for assisting in the logistics process to ensure the highest product availability while maintaining health and safety guidelines. Tasks include using IKEA systems and equipment, as well as collaborating with the team to achieve daily operational goals.

Job Responsibility:

Perform effectively the goods flow operation tasks in assigned area using IKEA systems and equipment
contribute to an optimized daily goods flow operation within assigned goods flow processes
contribute to agreed goals of the Goods Flow Team, participate in goal-setting process
comply with IKEA health, safety, and security guidelines, rules and regulations, support colleagues in preventing health, safety, and security incidents.

Requirements:

Interest in home furnishing, what people want in their homes and in the IKEA product range
forklift certification or relevant skills and expertise in forklift operation is a plus
at least 1-2 years’ experience working in warehouse/logistics operations, preferably in the retail industry
ability to manage time effectively, prioritize and organize tasks efficiently
good attention to detail for achieving accuracy
quick learner and asks questions when something is unclear
flexible approach to tasks and adapts to unpredictable situations
enjoys working as part of a team but can also work independently.
