Job Description:

IKEA Sheffield are looking to welcome Warehouse Operatives to join our hardworking Fulfilment team. Are you a detail-oriented individual with an interest in logistics? Join our efficient team as a Warehouse Operative, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our store.

Job Responsibility:

Receiving inbound deliveries that arrive at our store
Moving stock to sales locations across the store
Cross-check paperwork and use internal systems to ensure the right amount of stock is received and dropped in the right locations
Working with or around heavy machinery to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse
Commit to all IKEA health, safety and security rules and requirements
Contribute to optimised daily fulfilment operations by working in a lean, simple, and cost-conscious way

Requirements:

Comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support with the checking of stock
Relevant warehouse, logistics or order fulfilment experience
Experience operating or desire to work with Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks and Pedi Stacker
Adaptable mindset allowing to switch between different tasks/areas and work within tight time frames
Work with guidance from manager to achieve set goals in agreed timeframes using standard ways of working
Must be 18 years of age or older for this role

Nice to have:

Relevant warehouse, logistics or order fulfilment experience
Experience operating Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks and Pedi Stacker
