Job Description

The Warehouse & Fleet Manager plays a critical operational role, ensuring that technicians have the right materials, tools, and equipment exactly when they need them. This position manages all warehouse operations, inventory control, vendor coordination, and fleet maintenance while supporting field operations as needed. Success in this role requires hands-on plumbing knowledge, strong organizational skills, and experience in a service-based warehouse environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage all inbound and outbound materials, tools, and equipment for daily operations
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure proper tracking within company systems
  • Oversee ordering, stocking, returns, and vendor coordination to prevent shortages or delays
  • Stage materials for next-day installs by reviewing sold jobs and preparing required parts
  • Source hard-to-find or specialty plumbing parts when needed
  • Ensure warehouse safety protocols, cleanliness standards, and organization are consistently upheld
  • Coordinate fleet management, including vehicle maintenance tracking, service scheduling, inspections, and compliance
  • Ensure all service vehicles are clean, stocked, and ready for daily dispatch
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and control operational costs
  • Assist in the field when needed, including running the hydro-jetter or providing lifting support for technicians

Requirements

  • Warehouse experience in a service company is required (plumbing service preferred
  • UPS, Tesla, FedEx, or non-service warehouses do not qualify)
  • Strong residential plumbing knowledge is a must, including familiarity with parts, materials, and job requirements
  • Experience with inventory management and material staging for service or install teams
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Excel
  • Ability to support physical job duties when required, including lifting and field assistance
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
