The Warehouse Administrator (Process & System Administration) is responsible for ensuring full alignment between system data and actual warehouse operations within a fast-paced battery manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maintaining data accuracy across customer-facing management systems and on-site activities, proactively identifying and resolving system or process discrepancies, and preventing data gaps related to warehouse operations. The Administrator manages all warehouse-related data including inbound/outbound transactions, inventory records, documentation, equipment, and compliance materials. This position also supports the development of standardized operating procedures (SOPs), training and onboarding of new administrative staff, and continuous improvement of warehouse management processes.While primarily an administrative and system-focused role, periodic involvement in on-site verification is required, making a strong understanding of warehouse safety and operations essential.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure consistency and accuracy between system (SAP-based NERP and LSP systems) and physical warehouse operation
Regularly audit discrepancies between system data and on-site operations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
Actively resolve system-related issues impacting warehouse operations, data flow, or reporting accuracy
Maintain end-to-end data integrity for all warehouse transactions, ensuring no data gaps in operational records
Manage inbound and outbound transaction records, inventory movements, and stock adjustments
Manage warehouse assets and supply records, including tools, equipment, and consumables
Administer warehouse equipment management records and maintenance logs
Manage training documentation, including employee sign-off sheets and certification records
Maintain environmental, health, and safety (EHS) documentation relevant to warehouse operations
Perform additional administrative duties related to warehouse operations as required
Propose standardized operational procedures (SOPs) for warehouse administration and data handling
Identify inefficiencies or risks within current administrative and operational processes and recommend improvements
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to data accuracy, reporting, and system usage
Serve as a liaison between warehouse operations, customer systems, and internal departments such as Production, Logistics, Quality, and Management
Communicate data-related issues, delays, or risks clearly and promptly to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is an asset
Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse administration, inventory control, or logistics operations
Strong experience working with ERP/WMS systems
SAP-based system experience is highly preferred
High attention to detail with strong data validation and reconciliation skills
Ability to analyze process gaps and propose standardized solutions
Understanding warehouse operations and safety requirements collaborative with both administrative and operational teams
Work in a warehouse and office-based environment, with periodic exposure to production and warehouse floors. Requires occasional on-site verification involving walking and standing.
