The Warehouse Admin Officer supports the Warehouse Manager (Plant) in all administrative aspects of warehouse management, ensuring smooth workflow, effective communication and coordination between internal and external stakeholders in relation to inbound/outbound goods from the Plant, and ensures process compliance and data integrity across all systems. This role will act as primary reference in any absence of the Warehouse Manager (Plant).
Job Responsibility:
Verification of inbound goods against relevant Purchase Orders, ensuring all documentation is correct, including Pallet hire Documentation
Receipt all inbound transfers, bulk oil and packaged goods deliveries
Coordinate expected inbounds reporting for upcoming production plans
Communicating with vendors, drivers, suppliers and internal teams regarding delivery coordination, and/or any discrepancies related to production and demand planning
Coordinating inventory Breakups & labelling against required State based allocations
Ensuring inbound area is cleared and goods put away to ensure safe and effective flow of goods
Ensuring that all relevant shipping documentation accompanies each load (pallet hire, consignment detail, transfer documentation)
Communicate with internal teams to ensure goods can be shipped to external packing facility
Coordinating Transport for goods to be returned from external packing facility
Checking inventory levels for packaged goods against production requirements
Assisting in creating inventory transfers
Creating & manifesting outbound consignments in Transport Management System
Participate in Quarterly Stocktaking activities
Coordinate disposal of damaged and waste goods with waste providers
Monthly reconciliation of National Pallet Hire Accounts
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years administration experience in warehouse environment
Effective stakeholder management and influencing ability
Exceptional customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent phone manner
Accurate and efficient data entry as well as numeracy skills
Understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Flexible and ability to demonstrate sound work ethics
Honest, trustworthy, respectful and possess cultural awareness
Nice to have:
Pallet Hire Reconciliation experience desired
Inventory control experience desired
