Job Responsibility
Manage the ward in different settings, ensuring high-quality care for children, following unit protocols and Trust policies
Monitor workload and workforce resources on a daily basis to ensure smooth operation
Lead and support junior colleagues in delivering care, including assessing, planning, and implementing care programmes
Oversee the professional development of the team, setting objectives and helping staff meet their goals
Requirements
RN Child (RSCN)
Diploma level post basic nursing qualification in relevant field
Five years' experience in paediatric nursing with at least two years at Band 6 or above
ENB 998 or equivalent teaching and assessing qualification

Performing PDR
Health & Safety Safe Practices e.g. Lifting and Handling, Sharps, COSHH
