Job Description

As a Waking Night Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are receiving clinical support from the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHT Norwich). This role is ideal for someone seeking flexibility in their working hours, as you will work overnight shifts with the autonomy to balance your personal commitments. You will provide therapeutic interventions such as Mindfulness, Distraction Techniques, and a friendly ear without judgment to help individuals manage their mental health recovery.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide 1-2-1 support to individuals using the service during the night shift
  • Remain awake and responsive to the needs of individuals, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
  • Complete referrals and signposting to relevant services
  • Carry out general cleaning duties to maintain a safe and welcoming environment
  • Ensure accurate and timely entries into the electronic clinical system
  • Contribute to team meetings and attend mandatory online and in-person training
  • Provide a comprehensive handover to the team coming on duty
  • Support individuals through therapeutic interventions, including mindfulness, distraction techniques, and signposting

Requirements

  • Flexibility and responsiveness to the needs of both individuals and the team
