You will provide support and companionship to our lovely client in her early 20’s by helping her develop life skills and emotional support in the Moss Rose District of Macclesfield. This is a fast paced yet highly rewarding position. You will need to think on your feet, be reliable and punctual, as the lady you support will be relying on you to help them live their best lives!
Job Responsibility:
Developing her life skills and personal interests
Arranging social activities in the home and in the local community
Provide support and companionship
Helping her develop life skills and emotional support
Offering a supportive ear and a calm presence
Bringing an element of fun into their daily activities and needs
Promoting independence with our client and enabling her to live an independent and fulfilling lifestyle
Ensure the quality of support provided is consistent with current legislation.
Requirements:
Must have experience with Mental Health
Must have EXCELLENT communication skills
Have a natural sense of empathy and good common sense
Will have an easy-going personality and are understanding of others who may display behaviour that can present challenges
Have great organisational skills and ability to think outside the box
Are punctual, reliable and have the ability to think quickly and effectively
Use previous experience and/or existing transferable skills to promote independent living for our client.
