Job Description:

At Gwynfryn we provide a supportive setting for ten people with Mental Health needs, where they can feel comfortable, safe and happy. We encourage everyone to have a full and active life, where individuals are supported and encouraged to meet their potential and accomplish their goals. We build on existing skills and support people to develop coping strategies to manage any setbacks along the way. We empower people to explore new opportunities and pursue their hobbies and interests. Our aim to provide the people we support with every opportunity for personal development, through education and adventure.

Job Responsibility:

Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support
Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life
Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments or administrating medication
Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping
Assisting with personal care as required
Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking
Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support

Requirements:

Female
Over 18 years of age
Due to genuine occupational requirement for the people being supported
Enhanced DBS check
