Job Description:

The role involves serving food and beverages to guests, ensuring high service standards, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting team goals in a hospitality environment. The Waitress position at Yantai Marriott Hotel offers a dynamic work environment with training opportunities and a focus on holistic well-being.

Job Responsibility:

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
set tables according to service standards
answer questions on menu selections
communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, re-cook orders, and special requests
record transactions in the MICROS system
check in with guests to ensure satisfaction
maintain cleanliness of work areas
complete closing duties
present checks to guests and process payment
ensure uniform and personal appearance meet standards
anticipate and address guests’ service needs
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
adhere to quality expectations and standards.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance
fine motor skills and coordination
ability to speak with clear and professional language
adherence to company safety and security policies and procedures
positive working relationships with others.
