Waiter

• Creating an exceptional dining experience for members and their guests
• Presenting menu and provide detailed information when asked including allergens information
• Making sure all service mise en place is ready in advance
• including table set-up, cutlery, napkins, salt and pepper filled, etc.
• Meeting with restaurant colleagues to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations
• Supporting, training, and developing any new members of the team and making them feel welcome
• Up-selling additional products as and when appropriate in a subtle and conversational manner
• Taking accurate food and drinks orders, using our till system, ordering slips or by memorisation as appropriate
• Checking dishes and dining utensils for cleanliness and presentation and reporting any problems to the culinary and management teams
• Presenting the bill and processing payments in line with our standards and SOP’s
• Arranging table settings and maintaining a tidy dining area
• Removing dirty items from tables to avoid clutter in a timely manner
• Feeling empowered making a decision that will enhance the member experience or defuse any complaints which may arise
• Adhering to all Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to food and beverage items

• Proven experience in a luxury / lifestyle multi-outlet food and beverage operation
• Must be able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends due to the operational hours of the club
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members
• A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting
