Previous experience as a waiter in an à la carte or fine dining setting is required
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor
Familiarity with à la carte service, menu items, and wine pairings
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and service

Job Responsibility

Welcome guests, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and specials
Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar
Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring correct presentation and temperature
Set up and clear tables, maintain clean and organized dining areas, and assist with table settings and decorations
Stay informed about the menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens to answer guest inquiries confidently
Suggest additional items or enhancements to improve the guest experience and increase sales
Build rapport with guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to any requests or concerns
Prepare and present bills, handle payments, and ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation
Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages
