Job Description:

Step into one of Oxford’s most iconic addresses and deliver memorable service in a setting steeped in 160 years of history. We are hiring a Waiter/Waitress to join the front-of-house team at The Randolph Hotel, Oxford, with an OTE of £15.30 per hour.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver warm, polished and confident service across breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and bar service
  • Take orders accurately, recommend dishes and drinks with genuine knowledge, and anticipate guest needs before they ask
  • Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, cleanliness and table set-up
  • Work seamlessly with the kitchen, bar and reservations teams to deliver a smooth guest journey
  • Handle payments and POS systems accurately and efficiently
  • Build rapport with returning guests and treat every cover as an opportunity to create a memorable moment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Waiter, Waitress, Server or Commis Waiter in a restaurant, hotel or bar setting
  • Genuine warmth, energy and an instinct for hospitality
  • Strong communication skills and a sharp eye for detail
  • The composure to stay calm and gracious during busy services
  • Flexibility to work across days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • The right to work in the UK is required for this role
