High level of skill in trouble shooting, fault rectification, minor repairs and the carrying out of preventative maintenance procedures on rollingstock or similar equipment

Wagon maintenance experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided

Job Responsibility

Performing complex troubleshooting, fault rectification duties, repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance procedures on rollingstock, components and associated equipment to meet the operational requirements of the specific location
Supervising, mentoring, and assisting the development of apprentices and Wagon Maintainers
Carry out duties in a safe manner in accordance with policies, regulations and procedures and the Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) Act
Utilise and input accurate data into information and Maintenance Management Systems
Field maintenance of rollingstock including derailment recovery
