Job Description:

We are working with a leading transactional risk insurance platform to appoint a Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) Underwriter to support private equity and corporate M&A transactions across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The role offers exposure to complex, cross-border transactions and close collaboration with private equity sponsors, corporates, law firms, and brokers operating across key regional markets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Underwriting W&I insurance policies on buy-side and sell-side transactions throughout MENA
  • reviewing transaction documentation
  • assessing legal and commercial risk
  • structuring policy terms
  • pricing risk
  • working closely with brokers and insureds during live deal processes
  • participating in client and advisor calls
  • reviewing due diligence materials
  • negotiating coverage positions in fast-moving, deal-driven environments

Requirements:

  • Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) underwriting experience
  • transactional risk experience
  • M&A insurance experience
  • corporate/M&A law background with a strong interest in underwriting
  • solid understanding of M&A transactions and sale documentation
  • ability to assess risk pragmatically
  • communicate clearly with senior stakeholders
  • English fluency is essential
  • Arabic language capability is desirable but not required
