We're looking for a quality-driven, team-oriented, well-rounded frontend engineer with expertise in client-side technologies and frameworks, along with some experience in Laravel (or something similar) development. The successful applicant will have deep knowledge of Vue.js 2/3, CSS, native JavaScript/TypeScript, and in-depth experience with client-side architecture. Additionally, we’re looking for someone who can work within a legacy codebase while helping us re-engineer and modernise much of our frontend architecture.
Job Responsibility:
Developing and leading projects using software engineering and architecture skills in Vue.js and TypeScript
Deliver front-end requirements when necessary, utilising TypeScript and Vue JS
Implement UIs with clean, semantic HTML5, CSS3, SASS, grid frameworks and responsive web design
Write unit, integration and acceptance tests, embracing TDD as a philosophy
Report and debug issues discovered in production
Demonstrate autonomy and a keen interest in the development and advancement of our products and underlying architectural solutions
Requirements:
Located anywhere in the Americas or European union regions between the UTC-8 and UTC+2 timezones
8+ years commercial experience in a software engineering role
5+ years working with Vue (with experience in both versions of Vue 2 & 3)
3+ years working with Laravel (or something similar)
Demonstrated experience with Git, collaborating with other developers and working with other engineers’ code
Finesse – attention-to-detail, robust and extensible code with a penchant for good software design
Passion – for the internet, open-source, computing, devices, gaming and Star Wars
English fluency is a must
