You will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance and management of information in SAP SuccessFactors particularly in the Employee Central (EC) module and onboarding of new starters, ensuring all information is received to create a new employee profile. The EC module contains information on position management, organisational structures, employee information and workflows related to approvals for actions by delegates in the system. This role oversees the functions of the system for EC and onboarding, ensuring workflows reach the correct delegate, information is maintained accurately and actions relating to information flowing across the system are processed in a timely manner.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure timely and accurate HR delegation, process and policy advice is provided to staff within the DGS cluster, using sound consultancy and negotiation skills to assist clients in clarifying needs, expectations and outcomes as well as providing advice in a timely manner
Ensure workflow management in SuccessFactors is in line with relevant departmental HR delegations
Provide advice and support on a broad range of HR system, position management and recruitment issues and practices, offering system solutions which are in line with organisational priorities and relevant government and department policy
Work with other teams to provide support and response to day-to-day HR questions and queries, using the Salesforce system to resolve tier 2 customer queries and tier 1 escalations
Support workforce planning and establishment management by maintaining and updating the organisational structure with SAP SuccessFactors
Prepare succinct and high-quality briefs, reports and other correspondence on a range of employment and workforce issues within tight timeframes
Requirements:
Experience managing workflows within SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central)
Experience with high volume processing of workflows, queries and requests
Experience maintaining organisational establishments and position data within a HR information system
Understanding of the legislative and industrial framework that applies to Victorian public servants, including the Public Administration Act 2004, the Fair Work Act 2009, Executive Handbook and the Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement 2024
Experience using Salesforce or a relevant service management tool to manage customer queries and requests
Candidates must be an Australian citizen or a Permanent Residence to be eligible to apply
Hold an active police check or be willing to obtain
