Full Stack Developer – Preqin Pro (Belgrade Engineering Team). Aladdin Engineering team is actively seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Preqin Pro, Preqin’s flagship application. You will work with a talented team of engineers, leveraging modern technologies such as .NET Core, Python, React, microservices, and cloud-native distributed containerized microservice orchestration to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. This role sits within Preqin, a part of BlackRock. Preqin plays a key role in how we are revolutionizing private markets data and technology for clients globally, complementing our existing Aladdin technology platform to deliver investment solutions for the whole portfolio. Fully integrated into our Engineering Team in Belgrade, you will be exposed to both the technical and functional layers of our most innovative products, while acquiring a unique skillset in the fast-growing Private Markets industry. You will be a part of an international and agile environment, with a strong drive for technical innovation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Creating new features, from conception to deployment in production
  • Owning every aspect of the SaaS product, including production monitoring and incident resolution on the cloud platform
  • Understanding the importance and application of information security practices
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of team methodologies (CI/CD, automated testing, best practices)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Organizational Sciences, or related software engineering background
  • 5-10 years of experience in backend development (Python, .NET) and frontend development with modern frameworks using React / TypeScript
  • Understanding of OOP best practices and concepts
  • Experience building and consuming APIs using gRPC or REST
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and development
  • Strong understanding of containerisation and cloud-native distributed containerized microservice orchestration deployments using Helm
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to navigate and understand an existing codebase
  • Interest in the functional part of the product
  • finance industry knowledge is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
