Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Lead to join our SAP Transformation team. This role is pivotal in implementing the SAP (EVO) Core Model, ensuring alignment with functional needs and business requirements. You will lead a team of functional experts, define strategic direction for SAP processes, and drive harmonisation and simplification across global operations. The position requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and expertise in SAP functional domains, ensuring delivery of world-class solutions that support Vodafone’s transformation agenda.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage the SAP functional excellence team, fostering collaboration and high performance across all SAP domains
  • Define and maintain functional design standards to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across SAP processes
  • Drive harmonisation and simplification of SAP functional domains to enable scalable global operations
  • Engage proactively with Global Process Owners, Senior Business Owners, and technical teams to deliver solutions aligned with best practice architecture and future-ready capabilities
  • Oversee governance, prioritisation, and stakeholder management to ensure delivery of high-quality functional designs and safeguard the integrity of Vodafone’s SAP ecosystem

Requirements

  • Strong people management skills with proven ability to lead multiple teams across a global organisation
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Expertise in SAP functional domains, including S4 Hana and SAP ECC, with knowledge of Cloud and ERP systems
  • Experienced in IT architecture, analysis, and implementation, with a background in large-scale business and technology transformations (10+ years)
  • Certified in SAFe Agilist and SAFe LPM, with additional qualifications such as Prince 2 Practitioner, MSP Practitioner, or Agile PM Practitioner
  • Skilled in Agile/Lean process management, programme governance, and digital transformation technologies (AI, ML)
