Job Description:

This role involves leading a skilled team, defining and implementing a forward-thinking application development and automation strategy, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that technology outcomes support the business objectives. The position is within the Investment Management industry and is located in Bethesda, Maryland.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the design and development of internal platforms and customer-facing systems
  • Provide transformative leadership, guiding teams through the product development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with product owners, business leaders, and IT teams to align technology outcomes with business objectives
  • Execute a forward-thinking application development and automation strategy in line with digital transformation goals
  • Lead the implementation of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD practices, and modern cloud-native development frameworks
  • Standardize and enhance SDLC practices, with a focus on secure development, automated testing, documentation, and structured change management
  • Manage solution delivery, ensuring velocity, security, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Establish and grow a dedicated UI/UX capability focused on delivering modern, intuitive, and consistent user experiences across platforms
  • Work closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and data governance teams to ensure security, performance, and compliance across all initiatives
  • Manage external development partners, scaling internal and outsourced capabilities as needed
