Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President (VP) of Sales, Asia Pacific to lead our sales strategy and execution across new and existing markets in the region. This executive will be responsible for new logo acquisition, cross-selling, and upselling across our portfolio of products and services. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the regional markets, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in driving revenue growth within hospitality tech.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the full Asia Pacific sales team, including new logo, cross-sell, and up-sell
  • Team includes direct reports of Business Development Reps, Sales Managers, Director of Sales, and Solutions Engineer
  • Responsible for leading a highly effective team across Asia Pacific, including Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Australia
  • Steering the strategic direction and people management for all hotel and casino segments, all product lines
  • Work with C-level executives to align their business needs with Duetto’s solutions and represent Duetto in the market
  • Establish a network of stakeholders across their territory, including General Managers, Revenue Managers, Commercial Leaders, and Integration Partners
  • Work closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure resourcing and to remove roadblocks, including close alignment with Sales Ops, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, etc
  • Forecast for the region and keep Salesforce up to date
  • Teach and maintain the sales methodology to the team
  • Assist all team members in their daily jobs, strategic decisions, and pricing quotes
  • Responsible for hitting the Asia Pacific team quota and accelerating the business
  • Responsible for hiring and training new talent on the team and holding everyone to the Duetto standard
  • Manage and execute against Duetto Sales architecture, processes, and revenue recognition criteria, including Salesforce.com
  • Represent Duetto at industry events such as conferences, seminars, hosted events, customer meetings, etc
  • Sales Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy across Duetto’s full product suite
  • Growth: to drive new customer acquisition, expansion, and revenue growth across Asia Pacific and Global Gaming
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team focused on enterprise sales, strategic accounts, and independent hotels. Teach and lead through sales methodology, providing a consistent approach across the team
  • Revenue Growth: Own and exceed revenue targets through proactive business development, strategic partnerships, and account expansion
  • New Business Development: Responsible for all new logo business in the region. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, leveraging market intelligence and industry insights
  • Cross-Sell & Upsell: Drive expansion within existing accounts by positioning additional products and services that add value to customers
  • Market Expansion: Develop and implement market entry strategies for Indonesia, Japan, China, and Vietnam
  • Collaboration & Alignment: Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales efforts with company objectives. Build strong relationships with key customers and prospective stakeholders
  • Performance Tracking: Use data-driven insights and Salesforce to measure success, forecast, and optimize strategies. Responsible for Salesforce hygiene and consistent sales processes
  • Market Representation: Represent Duetto at industry events such as conferences, seminars, hosted events, customer meetings, etc

Requirements:

  • 10+ years sales experience within the technology and travel/hospitality industry
  • People management experience running successful teams in the hospitality tech industry
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Strong experience in new logo acquisition, account expansion, and customer retention strategies
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders
  • Data-driven decision-maker with expertise in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and sales analytics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
  • Highly motivated and results-driven
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com, including sales forecasting
  • Remote employee with a willingness to travel up to 30%
