Job Responsibility

  • Own and lead the operational function, including inventory strategy, supply planning, purchasing, logistics, warehousing (3PL), and fulfillment across Retail, DTC, and Amazon
  • Develop and execute a scalable operations strategy, translating business objectives into infrastructure, processes, and capabilities that support growth and efficiency
  • Drive end-to-end inventory planning and management, optimizing service levels and working capital through forecasting, production planning, and cross-functional alignment with Sales, Growth, and Finance
  • Lead the S&OP process, ensuring rigorous monthly planning, alignment, and communication across key stakeholders
  • Oversee the full logistics and fulfillment network, including inbound and outbound transportation (small parcel, LTL, FTL, international) and 3PL partnerships, ensuring best-in-class service, cost efficiency, and SLA performance
  • Own vendor and partner management across manufacturers, freight providers, and 3PLs, including sourcing, negotiation, and ongoing performance optimization
  • Build and scale operational processes, SOPs, and systems to support accuracy, efficiency, and long-term scalability, including leadership across ERP platforms (e.g., Cin7) and future system implementations
  • Establish and lead operational performance management, including KPI definition, reporting, and analysis (e.g., Inbound Accuracy and On-Time In-Full), driving data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and health, including Inventory on Hand, slow-moving and obsolete inventory, and revenue recovery through retail compliance and chargeback management
  • Optimize the Order-to-Cash lifecycle in partnership with Finance & Accounting Team to improve service levels, cash flow, and customer experience
  • Ensure operational readiness and successful onboarding of new retail partners, including EDI integration, testing, and shipping & compliance requirements
  • Own and manage the operations budget, including logistics, fulfillment, and inventory-related costs, with accountability for cost efficiency and performance against targets
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, reviews as the functional owner of supply chain and operational performance – including ownership of the Operations function within the company Annual Operating Plan
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing operations team, establishing clear goals, accountability, and career development pathways.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations/Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain or operations within a consumer packaged goods (CPG) company, ideally in a high-growth environment within mass retail environment
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including managing and scaling teams
  • Deep experience in CPG operations, including demand planning and forecasting
  • Strong expertise in 3PL management, retail compliance, and operational process design
  • Extensive experience with EDI integrations across specialty, mass, and drug retail channels
  • Advanced analytical and reporting skills, with a track record of using data to drive decisions
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (Bluebox preferred), ERP systems (CIN7 preferred, Netsuite is a plus), and logistics platforms
  • Strong understanding of domestic and international logistics, including import/export processes
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused in your work
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision and near-term execution
  • Assertive in your communication style and a strong level of project management
