Job Description:

Peak Nano is in need of an experienced VP of Manufacturing looking to join a cutting-edge nano technology company experiencing rapid growth and expansion. You will be accountable for overseeing construction of a state-of-the-art nanolayer film extrusion manufacturing facility, plant operations, recruiting/managing operations personnel, maintenance and EH&S. Upon completion of the plant construction, you will lead the manufacturing team to produce high quality nanolayer film meeting customer specifications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee Plant construction and equipment installation: interface with facility developer and construction teams to ensure on-time/on budget delivery
  • Recruiting: identify and recruit a team to manage production including manufacturing engineers, shift leaders and operators.
  • Capital Management: Oversee Installation, commissioning, and lead operation of nanolayer coextrusion lines and facility equipment
  • Manage Plant Operations: Direct and coordinate all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, and logistics
  • Accountable for Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations (OSHA, etc.) and environmental standards (EPA)
  • Production Efficiency: Develop manufacturing output goals
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Accountable to Build/execute preventative maintenance and repair plans
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for production while minimizing storage costs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (specifically in mechanical, electrical, maintenance, robotics, etc.)
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing leadership, facilities construction and maintenance & safety management
  • EH&S leadership experience
  • Experience overseeing large capital equipment and facilities
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • US Citizenship

Nice to have:

  • Master’s Degree in a technical discipline
  • Experience in the field of plastics processing
