Job Description

Bemana is searching for a VP of Fire & Security Systems on behalf of a well established company for their branch location in the Fort Myers, FL area. This branch is an Edwards distributor and provides integrated solutions for commercial fire alarm systems and low voltage systems in Central and South Florida. The Vice President of Fire & Security Systems is responsible for leading the strategic direction, operational performance, and profitable growth of the company’s fire alarm, fire suppression, security, and life safety divisions. This executive role oversees sales, operations, installation, service, compliance, and financial performance. Working closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, the Vice President will drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, strengthen customer relationships, and develop a high-performing organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Fire & Security division
  • drive revenue growth through new business development, customer retention, cross-selling, and expansion of recurring service agreements
  • identify new markets, technologies, and service offerings
  • support mergers and acquisitions
  • maintain full P&L responsibility
  • establish and monitor KPIs related to safety, productivity, project execution, customer satisfaction, and financial results
  • oversee project management, scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation
  • collaborate with sales leadership to develop revenue strategies, pipeline management, and pricing initiatives
  • oversee estimating, contract negotiations, and proposal development
  • build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, general contractors, developers, property managers, and regulatory authorities

Requirements

  • Proven executive-level leadership experience in fire and security systems or related low-voltage industry
  • demonstrated success in P&L management, revenue growth, and operational performance
  • strong knowledge of fire and life safety codes, including NFPA, IFC, UL, FM, and local AHJ requirements
  • experience in sales leadership, customer relations, and business development
  • ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams
  • experience with mergers and acquisitions including due diligence and integration is preferred
