As an Australian and APAC equity salesperson, you will be responsible for distributing Australian, APAC research and equity products to U.S. institutional investors. You will play a key part in rebuilding Australian and APAC coverage on a lean international desk while also supporting the broader team in selling European research into the U.S. market. In this role, you will have high visibility given the team's strategic importance.
Job Responsibility:
Distributing Australian, APAC research and equity products to U.S. institutional investors
Rebuilding Australian and APAC coverage on a lean international desk
Supporting the broader team in selling European research into the U.S. market
Development and implementation of strategies to optimise the allocation and utilisation of financial resources
Financial analysis, including risk assessments and scenario planning
Collaboration with business stakeholders to develop financial plans, budgets and forecasts
Monitoring and assessment of financial resource consumption against established benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Identification and mitigation of financial risks
Requirements:
Understanding of Australian and APAC markets, research products, and institutional client needs
Series 7 and Series 63 licenses (or ability to obtain promptly)
Experience collaborating within cross-border or joint-venture structures
Nice to have:
Excellent communication skills for client interaction across time zones and regions
Relationship-building skills to deepen coverage with U.S. institutional clients
Ability to operate independently on a lean desk while contributing to a broader international sales team
