Job Description:

HSBC Commercial Banking serves millions of small, medium-sized and middle-market enterprises, providing commercial customers with a full range of banking services including multi-currency business accounts, payments and cash management, wealth management and insurance, and global trade and receivables finance, as well as a comprehensive range of financing solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to assist in executing China ecosystem partnership strategies to achieve Business Banking’s priorities, manage partner relationships, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver results.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in executing China ecosystem partnership strategies to achieve Business Banking’s strategic priorities
Assist in partnership engagements, pitches, deal negotiations and related industry analysis to achieve the China partnership strategy in focused sectors
Manage partners and internal stakeholders with an agile approach to ensure excellent delivery
Coordinate partnership meetings to ensure strategic objectives are achieved and maintained
Mange and nurture excellent relationship with partnerships for long-term collaboration
Responsible for managing partnership risk/conflict of interests associated with partner selection, contractual relationship and partnership operating model
Collaborate with internal stakeholders from Global/Product teams to deliver joint-up propositions
Inform on external market trends and current thought leadership, including competitor analysis, identifying potential development opportunities for CMB

Requirements:

Proven experience in acquiring/exploring new ecosystem partnership opportunities
Knowledge of the local ecosystem market growth trend and competition in China
Relationship/stakeholder management and influencing skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both mandarin Chinese/Cantonese and English with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels
Commercial banking frontline / channel management working experience in China is an advantage for this role
Strong customer services, sales and result-oriented mindset
Demonstrate leadership capability with decision making and analytics skills
