The VP, Corporate Finance is a senior finance leader responsible for providing financial leadership and strategic decision support to executive management, by owning the company’s operating and financial planning cadence, including forecasting, annual planning, long-range modeling, and KPI management in a public company environment and ensuring executives and the Board receive timely, accurate, and actionable insights that enable clear, informed decision-making. This role oversees Corporate Finance, Strategic Finance, Operational Finance, and Sales Finance, and serves as a central integrator across the business, partnering closely with the SVP and EVP Finance & Accounting, CFO, and executive leadership to support earnings readiness, Board and investor materials, external financial messaging, and the company’s long-term strategic objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Own company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and long-range modeling, including quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and multi-year outlooks
Lead development of financial materials for executive leadership, including Board presentations, earnings-related analysis, investor messaging, and ad hoc strategic reviews
Partner closely with the CFO, SVP, and EVP of Finance & Accounting to support external financial communications and key stakeholder narratives
Oversee strategic finance initiatives such as product economics, pricing analysis, partnership and M&A evaluations, investment decision support, and valuation modeling
Serve as a trusted financial advisor to senior leaders across Sales, Product, Operations, and Marketing, translating complex analyses into clear, actionable insights
Lead Sales Finance in partnership with Sales, Revenue Operations, and HR to support revenue forecasting, performance analysis, incentive compensation modeling, and strategic sales initiatives
Oversee Operational Finance to ensure strong KPI reporting, trend analysis, and a clear connection between operational performance and financial outcomes
Drive disciplined execution across multiple workstreams, establishing clear processes, milestones, and communication cadences while proactively managing risks and dependencies
Continuously improve finance workflows by identifying inefficiencies and championing automation and AI-enabled tools to enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance organization, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration
Requirements:
Investment banking or equivalent strategic finance background
Experience operating in a publicly traded, high-growth environment
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiencies and process improvements in complex, fast-moving environments
Proven ability to thrive in a high-intensity, rapidly changing environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence
Highly organized, process-oriented, and an effective project manager
Demonstrated success managing, motivating, and developing teams
