Job Description

Take a pivotal leadership role with our client as Vice President, Engineering. You will shape the technology direction of a fast-growing, multi-brand online gaming business, guiding modern software platforms and an AI-powered delivery transformation. You will mentor and empower a globally distributed engineering organisation, building a culture of velocity without compromising stability or user experience for players. This candidate MUST be based Estonia, and you can work remotely within the country. This is a high-visibility, impact-focused position that requires clear communication, practical pragmatism, and a hands-on leadership style that inspires teams to ship high-quality software. You will join a collaborative environment where Product, Data Science, Security, and Operations work together to align technology with business goals. You will stay close to the work through architecture and code reviews, ensuring scalable systems and excellent performance for players around the world. Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 15+ years of software engineering experience, including 7+ years in senior leadership
  • Proven success leading large, distributed engineering teams in high-growth environments
  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms, distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs
  • AI/GenAI experience strongly preferred
  • Track record of improving productivity, accelerating delivery, and driving operational excellence
  • Strategic yet hands-on leadership style with a bias for action
  • Excellent communication and influence skills, including experience working with executive stakeholders
  • High-energy, empathetic leader who is visible, approachable, and inspiring
