Job Description:

We are looking for a VP/Director of Finance to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. This role primarily involves overseeing all accounting functions, auditing, month-end close, and revenue recognition.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and manage all accounting functions within the organization
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies, controls, and processes
  • Lead the auditing process by conducting internal audits and coordinating with external auditors
  • Manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Oversee revenue recognition and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • Develop and monitor the organization's annual budget
  • Address financial inquiries from management in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure the organization's financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance-related role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions
  • Experience in formulating and monitoring the Annual Budget
  • Proficiency in Auditing procedures
  • Familiarity with Month End Close processes
  • Expertise in Revenue Recognition
