Vp/director of Finance

• Develop, implement, and oversee financial programs and systems, including budgeting, tax planning, and asset management
• Collaborate with leadership to support organizational goals, succession planning, and staff development initiatives
• Train and mentor finance team members to enhance their expertise in financial management practices
• Manage and coordinate fiscal reporting activities, including revenue and expense reports, balance sheets, and budgets
• Evaluate potential contracts and provide strategic advice on program designs and implementations
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial reporting regulations
• Lead improvements and updates to automated financial and management information systems
• Supervise the preparation of financial statements, analytical reports, and special data evaluations
• Establish robust finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures to maintain internal controls
• Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and financial statements to identify areas for improvement and guide business decisions

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
• Certification such as CPA designation is preferred
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in financial leadership roles
• Proven expertise in annual budgeting, month-end closing, and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of cash flow forecasting and budget processes
• Experience in the manufacturing or agriculture industry is highly desirable
• Exceptional ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
• Proficiency in developing and implementing strategic financial plans
