Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced VP/Director of Finance to join our team in the Hartford area. As a key leader in financial strategy and governance, you will play a vital role in overseeing financial operations, reporting, and decision-making processes. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to drive performance, manage risk, and contribute to the organization's growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the development and implementation of annual budgets and financial forecasting processes
  • Oversee month-end close procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Monitor and refine budget processes to align with organizational goals and objectives
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, including cash flow forecasts, to support strategic planning
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide decision support through financial modeling and performance management insights
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial health and mitigate risk
