Job Description:

The VP, Digital Strategy is a critical leadership role within Monks’ B2B practice. In this role, you’ll lead a significant portion of our B2B strategy organization and directly influence the growth of our largest enterprise SaaS, technology, and B2B services clients. You will serve as the strategic lead across integrated brand to demand programs – connecting paid media, ABM, creative, data, content, and measurement into a single, orchestrated system designed to create and convert demand. This role requires an exceptional leader who can develop high performing strategists, foster executive level client relationships, and define the playbook for how modern B2B growth engines operate. We’re looking for someone who combines deep performance marketing expertise with account level strategy, audience and signal design, measurement rigor, and an understanding of complex buying committees and long cycle pipelines.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as Senior Sponsor for a portfolio of enterprise B2B and multi channel lead generation clients, including global SaaS, technology, fintech, and services brands
  • Lead modern B2B growth strategy across the entire funnel – from brand to demand – including ABM, paid search, paid social, programmatic, CTV, online video, and emerging channels
  • Architect full-funnel frameworks that integrate media, creative, content, data, and sales alignment to drive qualified demand, pipeline, and revenue
  • Provide thought leadership on topics including: Account-based marketing and buying-group strategy
  • First-party data, audience systems, and signal resilience
  • Experimentation roadmaps and continuous improvement
  • Measurement and incrementality for complex, multi-touch journeys
  • Creative testing frameworks tailored to B2B buying stages
  • Guide teams through annual planning, quarterly business reviews, impact moments, and executive presentations
  • Partner with internal teams to integrate new service lines (creative, CRO, data science, marketing automation, WebOps) into holistic client solutions
  • Leverage partnerships with Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn, and other enterprise vendors to unlock new insights, beta opportunities, and growth pathways for clients
  • Directly manage a team of 4-6 Group/Senior Directors overseeing 15+ strategists and channel experts
  • Build and scale a high performing team capable of leading our largest B2B engagements and delivering world-class strategy, craft, and execution
  • Mentor leaders on client storytelling, strategic thinking, team management, and executive communication
  • Cultivate a culture grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning across performance media, ABM, and full funnel strategy
  • Own revenue, retention, forecasting, and growth for a highly visible book of enterprise accounts
  • Drive operational excellence through frameworks, playbooks, onboarding systems, and standardized approaches that scale across teams and clients
  • Partner with the Growth team on enterprise-level new business opportunities, including multi-market B2B pitches, integrated scopes, and annual retainer structures
  • Shape the evolution of Monks’ B2B go-to-market strategy – including positioning, solution design, and cross-discipline integration
  • Champion innovation by identifying emerging technologies, platform shifts, generative AI use cases, and new ways of operating across the B2B ecosystem

Requirements:

  • 10+ years leading performance and full-funnel digital marketing for enterprise B2B or multi-channel lead generation brands
  • 3+ years managing senior leaders and multi-disciplinary strategy teams
  • Deep knowledge of demand generation, ABM, and audience design across channels
  • familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, 6sense, Demandbase, etc.
  • Proven experience forecasting, optimizing, and allocating budgets across complex, multi channel programs
  • Strong analytics background with experience navigating marketing mix, incrementality, attribution, and pipeline measurement
  • Comfortable presenting strategy and business impact to C-suite and executive stakeholders
  • High proficiency in Excel/Sheets and comfort working with advanced data frameworks

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a fast-paced global agency or consultancy environment
  • Relationships with executives at large performance or enterprise B2B organizations
  • Exposure to SEO, marketing automation, sales-marketing alignment, ABM platforms, CTV, and app-based or cross-device strategies
  • A consultative approach to driving organizational change within client teams
  • Ability to travel for key client and internal meetings (up to ~10%)
What we offer:
  • Excellent, full coverage medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Generous PTO and 15 company-wide holidays
  • 401k with company contribution
  • Paid parental leave
  • Work-life balance with an emphasis on personal well-being
  • Career growth in a disruptor space & entrepreneurial opportunities within the Monks network
  • A globally diverse & inclusive culture with employee resource groups such as S4 Melanin, Pride.Monks, Cultura.Monks, and more
  • Authentic commitment to DEI efforts and sustainable growth
