Job Description:

The Process Ownership Cross-Enterprise Adoption VP will partner with senior stakeholders to formulate and socialize adoption guidance, advanced execution, and controls requirements. This role involves driving BA transformation programs, establishing operational models, and liaising with cross-enterprise areas to ensure consistent solutions. Key responsibilities include analyzing risk frameworks, delivering taxonomies, and influencing BA adoption programs to meet organizational objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for understanding the overall BA methodology to drive the requirements in the organization with stakeholder accountability across the enterprise
  • deep contribution to the delivery of multiple BA transformation programs – including all phases of project planning and discovery, business requirements documents for platforms, interaction with other BA Process Ownership teams and Technology development, providing expertise during user testing, and achieving final operationalization with all required controls and procedures
  • participate in BA operational model design including operational standards and procedures, stakeholders’ roles and responsibilities, necessary operating controls and monitoring requirements
  • provide inputs to transformation programs on required analytics, calculations, dashboards and workflows to enable delivery of seamless stakeholder role-based operational process and platform journeys for Businesses / Functions and BA
  • perform deep-dives, peer reviews, & on the ground support for BA transformation requirements
  • serve as a SME (subject matter expert) and primary point of contact that the organization can leverage for expertise and advice
  • as an SME, in various forums articulate the BA transformative improvements and as process and platform requirements with crisp presentations to Businesses / Functions stakeholders to inform, influence and get their buy-ins
  • ability to analyze and derive insights from large amounts of complex information, to make informed process and platform requirements recommendations
  • ability to communicate progress, status and highlight key risks and issues at various levels of the organization and in a timely basis
  • appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience preferred in a mix of the following functions: good practical analytical skills coupled with thorough understanding of technology development life cycle from formulation and articulation of detailed business requirements to testing technology implementation to final operationalization
  • project management knowledge and experience working with diverse group of senior stakeholders to achieve milestones and deadlines and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
  • meaningful knowledge of the risk management framework, including risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance
  • design of risk and controls / monitoring governance frameworks, policies and operational standards
  • controls operational formulation, execution and effectiveness monitoring design and implementation
  • experience working horizontally across an organization and participating in enterprise-wide implementations of major policy and relevant risk programs
  • well-developed listening skills and a strong ability to engage with stakeholders by providing proactive support and advice on a variety of subject matters
  • superior oral and written communication skills, and in particular ability to assess and contribute to the content of key risk and control reporting
  • strong demonstrated experience with a proven track record in driving positive and sustained change
  • strong ability to engage at the various management levels and demonstrated communication experience at different levels of organization
  • broad knowledge and understanding of banking operations
  • comfortable with providing, and open to accepting independent review and credible challenge
  • should have excellent proficiency in data profiling and Microsoft Office – particularly Excel (metrics and data analysis), PowerPoint (creation of crisp presentation decks), and Word (writing and editing procedural and requirements documentation)
  • strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • excellent judgment for independent decision-making – coupled with knowing when to reach out for guidance
  • strong attention-to-details
