Job Description

The VP, Brand & Agency Partnerships is an accomplished sales leader based in New York, who thrives in a fast-paced, ever changing environment. In this role, you need to know how to drive revenue growth across a scaling business while cultivating a high-performance sales team. You want to help clients achieve success while bringing in new and recurring revenue with a cutting-edge product suite including best-in-breed digital, interactive video, and shoppable performance advertising opportunities. You should be passionate about learning and growing your knowledge of the digital video and technology landscape, using your product and industry expertise to help the sales team build meaningful client relationships and close deals.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage a growing sales team of 3-5 AE and Director level sellers
  • Reporting into the SVP, Head of Partnerships, you will work closely on revenue objectives across all product lines including sales/product positioning, staffing, budgeting, managing, and forecasting new and recurring customers
  • Collaborate with the SVP, Head of Partnerships on proper sales methodology, key trainings, and continued education for the sales team
  • Help create and drive demand among buyers and decision makers across the industry
  • Help the sales team cement strategic and long term partnerships with customers
  • Identify and establish prospect lists, key strategic accounts, and prosperous revenue opportunities for your team
  • Help the sales team close new business and gain incremental from current business
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
  • Work closely with internal departments, particularly sales marketing/operations, client success, and others to ensure client expectations are set and communicated appropriately both internally and externally
  • Travel as necessary to support business objectives (prospect/client meetings, conferences, internal meetings.)
  • Participation in industry events and be vocal for KERV through social media and networking
  • Own and nurture a strategic book of business, closing new deals and new clients

Requirements

  • 8+ years in digital advertising
  • 3+ years in a sales management role
  • Experience in cultivating, managing, and growing high performance sales teams
  • Proven record of sales team achievements against revenue goals
  • A strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and technologies, including programmatic (e.g., SSPs, AdExchanges, DSPs, DMPs, etc.)
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter, self-motivated
  • Thrive under pressure
  • Passionate about advertising, particularly interactive and shoppable video products
  • Excellent communication skills in all environments: presentations, emails, phone, and face to face
  • Ability to work cross functionally and effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Has a wide network featuring close industry relationships and top tier brands
  • Knowledge/Familiarity with digital advertising and prospecting tools: Winmo, Sellercrowd, HubSpot, Salesforce, data input/ output, etc.
