The Voyage Global Leadership Development Program is a full-time, paid development program for recent university graduates. It provides a combination of hands-on, discipline-specific training and a leadership-focused curriculum over 18 months at a Marriott International managed hotel. Participants gain access to senior leaders, participate in mini-rotations, and are prepared for supervisory or entry-level management roles.
Job Responsibility:
Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
Set tables according to type of event and service standards
Answer questions on menu selections
Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability
Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment
Requirements:
Full-time undergraduate and above students graduating between June 2024 and June 2026
Superior critical-thinking & interpersonal communication skills
The ability to foster relationships & work collaboratively
