Job Responsibility

  • Plays a key role in delivering the volunteer programme across all venues, projects and Host Cities, supporting strong coordination and communication with stakeholders such as National Associations and local partners
  • Works closely with the Volunteer Recruitment Manager to ensure the programme is delivered to a high standard and meets the needs of the tournament
  • Contributes to the promotion of the volunteer programme, helping to drive high application numbers through engaging content and campaigns
  • Supports the development of training, content and resources, helping venue teams deliver a consistent and high-quality volunteer experience
  • Works collaboratively with other projects to ensure volunteers are smoothly integrated into all areas of tournament delivery
  • Supports the Volunteer Systems Manager in the use of volunteer systems by becoming an expert in it and supporting with training and guidance
  • Supports the delivery of key volunteer events, including training sessions, briefings and thank you events
  • Contributes to post-event evaluation and learning, supporting feedback collection and helping shape future volunteer legacy

Requirements

  • Strong experience coordinating complex, high-volume administrative processes end to end
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence managing multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • A genuine interest in working with volunteers, their needs and motivations
  • Ability to work calmly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
