The Volunteer Manager is responsible for managing systems, projects, and processes that enable Life.Church Online to serve people effectively around the world. This role combines strategic project management with hands-on oversight of volunteer onboarding and systems engagement. This position organizes, prioritizes, and executes initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, and supports ministry growth. This role supports the team’s direction, initiatives, and ministry efforts to achieve outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan, manage, and execute team projects by defining scope, setting timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring successful delivery
  • Partner with key stakeholders to assess new initiatives aligned with Life.Church Online’s strategic goals
  • Develop project plans, milestone tracking, and resource allocation documentation
  • Monitor project health, provide updates to leadership, and recommend course corrections
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project workflows, tools, and processes to increase team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with Central, Campus, and Product Integration teams to align systems and operations
  • Manage the volunteer onboarding and background check processes for Life.Church Online
  • Partner with Operations, Risk, and Data teams to ensure compliance and data integrity within the volunteer management system (Rock/RMS)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date volunteer records, dashboards, and key metrics
  • Evaluate and improve process documentation and resources
  • Develop strategies to improve volunteer retention, engagement, and recruitment
  • Partner with Communications and Marketing teams to execute recruitment and engagement campaigns
  • Support volunteer leaders with tools, communication, and system training
  • Partner with LCO leadership to execute vision, strategy, and priorities
  • Build strong relationships across Central and Campus teams to ensure alignment and support
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for LCO teams and ministries
  • Lead or assist in the rollout of new systems and initiatives that improve team collaboration and ministry reach

Requirements:
