Job Responsibility:
Lead the delivery of volunteer support across British Cycling’s officials, ensuring a high-quality experience for all volunteers
Lead the process of appointing commissaires to all National and International events on the British Cycling calendar for all disciplines
Support the Commissaire & Referee’s commission
Develop and implement initiatives to recruit, retain, and recognise volunteers, with a focus on inclusion and diversity
Provide excellent customer service and support to volunteers
Contribute to the development of digital tools and platforms that enhance volunteer engagement and experience
Coordinate training and development opportunities to build volunteer confidence and capability
Create and maintain resources and toolkits to support volunteers and programme delivery
Build regional connections and support networks to strengthen local volunteer engagement
Gather feedback and insight to inform planning and improve volunteer programmes
Promote British Cycling’s programmes and opportunities to encourage national volunteer involvement
Represent British Cycling externally, building relationships with stakeholders and partners to grow volunteer participation
Requirements:
