Job Description:

Create and maintain weekly production schedules to meet and fulfill customer needs. The purpose of the job is to create an efficient plan for the mid-term. Considering capacity, availability of raw materials, packaging and overall lead-times. By controlling the mid-term horizon, you are the one who identifies and resolves/escalates the gaps and/or opportunities. In this position you are going to work closely Production Schedulers making sure that production plans are properly scheduled and also keeping track of production output vs plan.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create and maintain weekly production schedules in OMP OPR
  • Makes proposals for ordering raw materials for the mid-/long term in consultation with the Replenisher & Demand Planner
  • Create/modify bulk process orders for blending/filling
  • Review and maintain MRP settings
  • Schedule/replenish packaging components from plant-to-plant and/or warehouse
  • Continuous improvement (Process improvement, Set-up KPI’s)
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in Production/Supply Planning, continuous improvement, working in SAP, Working with Scheduling systems ordering of components and art of follow-up, task manager
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English
  • >3 years’ experience as a Production / Supply Chain Planner
  • Proven successes within Continuous Improvement CI
