Job Description:

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Void Cleaner on behalf of a respected Housing Association client covering North London. This is a permanent, full-time position responsible for preparing empty (void) properties to a high standard before new tenants move in. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning and ensuring homes are ready, safe, and welcoming for new residents.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out deep cleaning of void properties to ensure they meet lettable standards
  • Clean kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, hallways, and communal spaces within empty properties
  • Remove rubbish and leftover items where required to prepare properties for re-letting
  • Carry out tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
  • Clean internal windows, cupboards, appliances, and fixtures where required
  • Work alongside maintenance teams to ensure properties are fully prepared for new tenants
  • Report any damages, repairs, or maintenance issues identified during cleaning
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety guidelines
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is used safely and effectively

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience, ideally within housing, property, or void environments
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads across multiple properties
  • Good attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Understanding of health and safety practices when using cleaning products and equipment
  • Ability to travel across North London as required, therefore being able to drive is essential
